imbornto Campaign Honors Mother’s Day

May 6, 2014

Aidan Lamothe, the March of Dimes 2014 National Ambassador, honors his mom this Mother’s Day with a handmade card. He created it while traveling the nation with his parents to share his inspiring story of survival and how the March of Dimes helped him and every baby born in the United States.

Aidan’s amazing story is highlighted in this year’s imbornto cause marketing campaign on imbornto.com. The March of Dimes believes all babies are born to do something great but they can’t do it alone. Parents help them get there. Each year, March of Dimes and our imbornto partners celebrate all parents from Mother’s Day through Father’s Day, and raise much-needed funds for research and breakthroughs. The ambassador family encourages other families, corporate leaders, celebrities, and the even the President of the United States to join them in raising awareness of the problem of preterm birth and birth defects.

Last week, Aidan and his family had the honor of meeting President Obama in the Oval Office. In recent weeks, they’ve shared their story with supermodel, Niki Taylor, actress/singer Hilary Duff, Dallas Cowboy Jason Witten, FedEx NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin, and volunteers all across the country.

Through the imbornto campaign, March of Dimes works with select retailers and brands who give back, each in their own way. Here is a full list of stores and their how they participate.
