Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx has been chosen as a site for a March of Dimes NICU Family Support Center.  The Center will consist of NICU Family Support products and materials, technical assistance and a computer with controlled internet access and sensitive and engaging print materials designed to help make the NICU experience more manageable for families. The NICU Family Support Center is funded by a 3-year, $100,000 grant from March of Dimes New York Chapter.

The Parent Empowerment Program is part of NICU Family Support at Albany Medical Center that showcases a newborn photo display and calendar to help empower parents who have premature or critically ill newborns. The program aims to enhance emotional support and resources for families with premature infants in the NICU.  The photos were donated to The Children's Hospital and are on display throughout the NICU.  Also available is a publication called “Our Little One.”  This calendar booklet allows parents to chronicle the journey of their newborn through the NICU from birth to discharge.
