Transportation and Construction Industry Leaders Honored by March of Dimes NY Division STV Chairman and CEO Receives Lifetime Achievement Award
NEW YORK, NY. – SEPTEMBER 24, 2009 – March of Dimes New York Division hosted the 33rd Annual Transportation and Construction Luncheon on Thursday, September 24, at Cipriani Wall Street. The event brings together two of New York City’s most influential industries to support March of Dimes Foundation and its Prematurity Awareness Campaign.
Dominick M. Servedio, Chairman and CEO of STV was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the luncheon. Event founder and Chairman Emeritus, Thomas E. Diana, presented the award and lauded Mr. Servedio’s extraordinary achievements within the industry, his impressive 22-year career with STV, and his more than two decades of service to the March of Dimes.
Sharon L. Greenberger, President and CEO of the New York City School Construction Authority was honored with a Service to Humanity Award for her contributions in the public sector and Geoffrey M. Hall, Senior Vice President of ACE USA Construction received the Service to Humanity Award for his work in the financial sector. The Thomas E. Diana Spirit of Volunteerism Award was given to Michael K. De Chiara, a founding partner of Zetlin & De Chiara LLP.
Richard Wood, President of Plaza Construction served as the Luncheon Chairman, and Co-chairs included Majid Hedayati, STV Group; Gregory A. Kelly, Parsons Brinckerhoff; Ira Levy, AECOM; and Frank T. MacInnis, EMCOR Group Inc. Donna Hanover, WOR contributor and Former First Lady of the City of New York emceed the program.
