The Franklin Delano Roosevelt Student Convocation seeks to increase student awareness of the biomedical sciences, particularly as they relate to birth defects, and to encourage students to pursue studies in related fields. The convocation will give Hudson Valley area high school students an opportunity to hear a speaker of prominence in the life sciences. Through familiarity with Franklin Delano Roosevelt's legacy, the convocation will emphasize the importance of leadership and volunteerism.
