5K Run for Healthier Babies

The 5K Run for Healthier Babies attracts a variety of people from all backgrounds and demographics. The event includes both the competitive 5K race as well as a one-mile Fun Run, which enjoys active participation from both families and youth. With a variety of family-focused activities on-site as well as local and corporate vendors, this event offers a longer participation time than most comparably-sized races in the Triangle area.
The March of Dimes 5K Run for Healthier Babies strives to stay ahead of the pack by offering distinctive prizes that help draw more participation from both competitive runners as well as the casual, weekend enthusiasts.
While most races do offer a prize to the top runner, the 5K Run for Healthier Babies offers participants in all age groups the chance to win. Additionally, the March of Dimes 5K Run for Healthier Babies issues cash prizes to the top three male and female overall winners—an incentive that helps distinguish the Race from most other competitive races.
1st Place Male/Female - $125 Cash Prize
2nd Place Male/Female - $75 Cash Prize
3rd Place Male/Female - $50 Cash Prize

$20 Sleep Walk
$10 1- Mile Run/Walk
