Our new website is here!
The March of Dimes North Carolina Preconception Health Campaign is pleased to announce the launch of EveryWomanNC.com. The site provides comprehensive information about preconception health and women’s overall health.
EveryWomanNC.com is targeted toward the general public, health care providers, and public health professionals. Visitors will find women’s health information organized by age group in addition to comprehensive information about reproductive life planning, multivitamins and folic acid.
There is also a section for health care providers and other health professionals that includes current recommendations, free materials and an impressive list of scientific journal articles. Patients value the opinion of their health care provider; therefore health care providers have a unique opportunity to encourage healthy behaviors.
Our old site, GetFolic.com, will be leaving us soon. We will be shutting it down in the next month or two, while we draw people to the new site. GetFolic.com was a wonderfully rich (and highly visited!) site, but our new Campaign is broader and more comprehensive. However, the good news is that all of the content that was on GetFolic.com is now situated in its new home at EveryWomanNC.com. Visitors can still find out about folic acid and multivitamins, in addition to ordering our ever popular free materials.
Please share this website with your friends, partners, colleagues and volunteers. We want to reach as many people in North Carolina as possible!
