| The Greater Triad Division of the North Carolina Chapter hosted the 28th Annual North Carolina Chili Championship and Rubber Duck Regatta on Saturday, September 11, 2010. The finest chili cooks from North Carolina and neighboring states cooked chili on site and shared samples of their top secret recipes.
Sister Hazel headlined this years event. Best known for their chart-topping hit All For You, they have sold more than 2 million albums and had six top 30 singles. In addition to Sister Hazel, local bands included Tammie Davis, Josh Lambert Band and Chris Lane Band.
Sponsorship for the Chili Championship was provided by Lowes Foods, Brenner Children's Hospital, WilcoHess, Modern Toyota, RH Barringer, WTQR, WMAG, Golding Farms, Classic Party Rentals, Pepsi and Sun Printing.
