The largest chili event in North Carolina, the March of Dimes Chili Championship is a day filled with great family fun which includes awesome chili sampling, the Beth Tartan Cake Bake, the Kids Korral games and entertainment area, and the Rubber Duck Regatta. (Rubber ducks can be purchased in groups of ten for $10 by clicking Register Now below.) You will also enjoy a variety of music throughout the day including classic rock-n-roll tunes, beach music as well as today's hits from the Dallas Reese Band and the Hip Pocket band.

In 2008, more than 13,000 Chili lovers joined together in the Piedmont Triad to raise  $178,000 at the North Carolina Chili Championship and Rubber Duck Regatta to benefit all babies—those born healthy as well as those who need help to survive and thrive. The event takes place rain or shine.
