Help arrest prematurity!
March of Dimes Jail & Bail brings together the community’s most wanted leaders and citizens for a common cause – saving babies. Charged with smiling too much on a Monday morning, reckless window shopping, and other fun charges they are guilty of aiding and abetting the March of Dimes in the fight against prematurity.
Their “sentence?” To serve time raising “bail” in form of donations to the March of Dimes. The bail they raise helps support lifesaving programs of research, community services and education.

| A Special Note From The Chapter: |
| “Do Time” for healthier babies. Participants (a.k.a. “Jailbirds”) are challenged to raise their “bail” by asking for donations from friends, family and business associates. They can collect it beforehand or by cell phone while at the event. Upon entering the mock-jail site, they are booked, fingerprinted and have their mug shots taken. Anyone interested in serving as either a Jailbird or an event volunteer is invited to sign up by calling the March of Dimes at (828) 258-1234. |
