The Cape Fear Division of the March of Dimes held the 9th annual Wine & Art Event, “A Night Under the Mistletoe”.
17-Nov-07
On November 17th the Cape Fear Division of the March of Dimes held the 9th annual Wine & Art Event.  It was themed “A Night Under the Mistletoe”.  It was held at Healy Wholesale, where our Hosting Chair, Mac Healy supplied all of the beverages, his warehouse, chairs, tables & 9 auction items.

The event chair was Misty Schreppel & the Sponsorship chair was Becky Spell. The event raised over $10,000 with approximately 100 people in attendance! It was a night filled with fun & holiday shopping. There were nine local vendors from the area selling their creative works.

We were entertained by the music of Michael Walsh & had some great food thanks to Cross Creek Catering by Design. We auction off 50 exciting silent auction items like gift certificates to local restaurants, college mini helmets signed by 3 NFL players who played there (ECU, NCSU, & UNC) & plenty of art. We even had a super bowl picture of Peyton Manning signed by the MVP himself.  I wrote him a letter telling him about the event & he sent it to us. All in all, it was a successful night.

Donating is easy online, by phone or mail / fax.
