San Francisco: The Great Meadow at Fort Mason Walk Site: From the Bay Bridge: I-80 to 101 North. Follow 101 to Mission exit and turn right from the offramp. Take 1st left onto Van Ness. Follow to Bay Street and turn left.
From Golden Gate Bridge: 101 South. Follow Marina Blvd. East to Laguna Street. Fort Mason is on Laguna.
Once inside the Lombard Gate: Continue west to the second stop sign. Turn right onto Presidion Boulevard. Presidio Boulevard merges with Lincoln. Pass Graham St on the left, and make the first left turn, after Graham St, into the Main Post Parking Lot.
Bus Lines: 42, 47 & 49 Van Ness - Van Ness & Bay- 3 blocks West. 30 Stockton - Chestnut & Laguna- 2 blocks North. 22 Fillmore - Fillmore and Bay- 3 blocks East. 28 19th Ave.- From Daly City direct to Fort Mason
Parking: FREE at Presidio Main Post There is parking at Marina Middle School this year but all cars need to be there by noon to get a parking. Shuttle Service will be provided from the Main Post Parking to The Great Meadow at Fort Mason between 7 am and 1 pm. Pick-Up/Drop Off location is in front of the Presidion mailboxes adjacent to Main Post Parking Lot.
San Jose: Vasona Park, Los Gatos walk site: From Highway 17 exit east onto Lark Ave. Turn left onto Blossom Hill Rd. Enter at the Vasona County Park/Oak Meadow gate.
Parking: FREE shuttle service from University Park (Offices) Parking Lot. (Parking at Vasona is very limited and the cost per car is #4.00)
University Park Parking Lot: From Highway 880(17) exit West onto Lark Avenue. Proceed to Lark and University. From Winchester Blvd/N Santa Cruz go East on Lark Avenue to Parking Lot at University Avenue
Sacramento: State Capitol Building Walk Site: From Hwy 99: Take 99 North to I-80 Business Route/US 50. Merge onto I-80 West Ramp. Merge onto US-50 West/CA-99 North. Take Capitol City Freeway West. Take the CA-160/16th Street exit. Turn right onto 16th Street/CA-160 North. Turn left on L Street, turn left on 9th St., turn left on Capitol Mall.
From Capitol City Freeway: Travel west on Business Route 80, take the J Street exit, merge onto 29th Street, turn right onto L Street, turn left onto 9th Street, turn left on Capitol Mall.
From I-5: Travel South on I-5, merge onto I-5 South/CA-99. Take the J Street exit towards downtown, merge onto J Street, turn right onto 9th Street, turn left onto Capitol Mall.
Parking: Free – The three lots bordering 15th Street and Capitol Park, as well as the lot on 12th and P Streets.
Contra Costa: Heather Farm Park, Walnut Creek Walk Site: From Highway 24 heading east/ 680 heading south: Connect to the 680 freeway, heading north. Take the first exit, Ygnacio Valley Road. One block past John Muir Hospital, turn left onto North San Carlos Road. You are now in Heather Farm Park. The Community Center is two blocks down on your left.
From 680 heading south: Take the North Main Street exit, staying in the right lane as you exit. Cross over the freeway and travel south on North Main Street. Stay in the left lanes. Turn left onto Ygnacio Valley Road. One block past John Muir Hospital, turn left ontp North San Carlos. You are now in Heather Farm Park. The Community Center is two blocks down on your left.
Parking: Free
Fresno: Woodward Park Walk Site: From Freeway 40 North: Take the Friant Road exit. Turn right on Friant. At the second stop light turn left onto Audubon Avenue. The entrance to the park is on the right. Once inside, follow the road to the back of the park. River View Shelter is at the back end of the park on the left.
Parking: FREE before 9 am. After 9 am there is a $2 entrance fee per car. There are two large parking lots just before River View Shelter.
King County: Hanford West High School Walk Site: From 43 South: Take 43 South to Hanford. 43 turn into 10th Avenue. Continue on 10th to Grangerville and turn right. At 11th Avenue turn left. At Lacey Blvd. and Campus Drive. The Start/Finish area is at the grassy area adjacent to the cafeteria.
Parking: Free
Modesto: Downey Park Walk Site: From 99 North: Exit at Briggsmore/Carpenter, turn left onto Briggsmore. Follow it all the way to Coffee (past McHenry Ave.) and turn Right onto Coffee. Downey Park is on the left side. Turn left at Brighton and parking is to the right.
From 99 South: Exit at Briggsmore/Carpenter, turn right onto Briggsmore. Follow it all the way to Coffee (past McHenry Ave.) and turn Right onto Coffee. Downey Park is on the left side. Turn left at Brighton and parking is to the right.
Parking: Limited parking inside the park. Parking available along the street.
Oakland: Lake Merritt Walk Site: From I-580 South: Exit at Harrison Street turning east into Oaklnad. Turn left onto Grand Avenue. Park will be on your right hand side. Enter the park at Bellevue (Fairyland). Continue into the park on Bellevue, parking at the Sailboat House. The Festival Zone will be located just past the Sailboat House on the other side of Bellevue
From I-580 North: Exit at Grand Avenue. Turn left at first light onto Grand. Go west to Bellevue(6 blocks). Park entrance is on left(Bellevue), ypu will see signs for Fairyland. Continue into the park on Bellevue, parking at the Sailboat House. The Festival Zone will be located just past the Sailboat House on the other side of Bellevue
Parking: Available at the park for $3.50 per car.
Solano: Pena Adobe Park, Vacaville Walk Site: From I-80 West: Take the Cherry Glen Exit. Take a right going over the freeway to Pena Adobe Road. Turn left, park is less than one mile from 80W. (Signs will indicate the way to the park from Pena Adobe Road)
From I-80 East: Take the Pena Adobe Road exit. Follow the exit, make a quick left to enter Pena Adobe Road.
Parking: FREE at Pena Adobe Park. Parking may be limited, so please car pool if possible.
Stockton: Atherton Park Walk Site: From I-580 East: Continue on I-205 East towards Stockton/Tracy. Take the I-5 North exit. Merge on I-5 North. Take the W March Ln exit towards Delta College/University Of Pacific. Bear Right on W March Ln. Turn Left on Quail Lakes Dr. The park is located right next to Quail Lake Baptist Church.
Parking: Parking is free.
Tri-Valley: Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton Walk Site: From I-680: Exit E. Bernal Ave. Go east one mile on Bernal. Turn left onto Pleasanton Ave. There are signs for the Fairgrounds.
Parking: Parking is availabke on the street and in a nearby lot.
Merced: Merced College Stadium Area Walk Site: From CA99 South: Take 16th Street Exit. Continue on W 16th Street and turn left on CA 59. Turn right on W Olive Ave and then left on M Street. The Stadium is not hard to find once you are inside the college.
Parking: Parking is free.
Central Coast: Lover's Point Beach, Pacific Grove Walk Site: From 101 South: Go towards San Jose. Continue towards CA-156 West/Monterey Peninsula. Go on CA-156 West then continue on CA-1 South. Take Del Monte Ave exits towards Pacific Grove. Continue on Del Monte Ave. Bear right on Lighthouse Ave. Turn left on David Ave. Right on Hawthorne Street. Continue on Lighthouse Ave. Make a hard right turn on 17th Ave. The site is between 17th and Ocean View Blvd.
Parking: Parking is free.
Visalia: College of the Sequoias Walk Site: From CA-99 North: Take the CA-198/CA-198 E exit. Merge on CA-198/CA-198 E. Take the S Mooney Blvd exit. Turn Right on S Mooney Blvd.
