Ohio Updates Family Planning Rules

| The Ohio Chapter is working extensively to get a Medicaid Family Planning Waiver in place which will be implemented in 2010. With the Chapter's active participation, and as part of the process for securing the waiver, the state recently adopted new family planning rules that go into effect July 1, 2009. These new rules expand maternity services and include preconception care services. The Chapter actively participates in Ohio’s Family Planning Waiver Task Force and helped to provide guidance in formulating and clarifying these new rules. |
