Ohio hits 29!
|
| The Ohio chapter worked with the Department of Health and the Newborn Screening Advisory Committee to permanently authorize tyrosinemia to the newborn screening panel and provide follow up care and treatment. The state had been utilizing an alternative screening protocol for tyrosinemia and had not previously indicated screening for it was required. This addition means Ohio is now screening for the full 29 core conditions recommended by the March of Dimes. |
