2009 Logan County Light A Little Star
Bellefontaine, Ohio
Light a Little Star is filled with games, food and entertainment and families and teams celebrating the babies in their lives. Participants raise money, as individuals or as a team, to earn the "little stars" that will light the sky at this special celebration. Each team will create a display using their stars to be paraded when the lights go down during the "Stars in Motion Ceremony".
Light a Little Star was inspired by those lives directly touched by the work of the March of Dimes; the mothers, fathers, grandparents, and friends of babies born prematurely or with special needs. Light a Little Star is a way of rallying the community around the day we all dream of - the day when every baby is born healthy. It is a great day of joy, inspiration, and love.
