Join the Fight to Save Babies!

As year-end approaches and you consider which organizations to support with an annual gift, we hope you will give high priority to making a contribution to the March of Dimes.

It took many years, millions of dollars, thousands of volunteers and a disciplined, steadfast approach to eliminate the fear and scourge of polio.  It will take all that and more to unravel the complexities of premature birth.

Imagine looking forward to the birth of a child or grandchild, only to be faced with the heartbreak of a baby born too soon, so sick it must fight for its life, so small that it fits in the palm of your hand.   Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and affects half a million babies and their families every year in the U.S.  The numbers are growing at an alarming rate, which is why the March of Dimes is leading the effort to find answers.  We are making progress, but there is still much to do.

Your contributions will support all the work of the chapter and brings us closer to the day when all babies are born healthy and full term.  Won’t you consider making a gift and joining the fight to save babies?

Michelle Kingsfield, ABC 22/Fox 45 Anchor, shares her story why she supports the March of Dimes.
