Kirk & Jacki Perry and family of Cincinnati
Volunteers Make A Difference
Kirk Perry is a man with a mission.
Kirk Perry and his wife Jacki started having children with the usual hopes and dreams. But unexpectantly, three of their four children were born prematurely. Then, in 1999, Kirk and Jacki heard the news that all parents dread. Their oldest daughter Karly had kidney cancer. After losing a kidney and 6 months of chemotherapy, Karly is in full remission and technically cured! Kirk and his family know how precious and fragile life is and is determined to make each day count. Kirk’s passion for his family and making a difference led him to accept the leadership role of the Division Chairman for the Cincinnati/N. Kentucky Division of the March of Dimes.
As Vice President, NA Market Strategy & Scale at Procter & Gamble, Kirk has generously shared his professional and personal talents to help the March of Dimes achieve record fundraising and program accomplishments. Kirk implemented the P&G process for objectives, goals, strategies and measures to focus the organization’s performance. He garnered the recommitment from individual Board volunteers to improve overall Board performance.
Leading by example, Kirk turned his hobby for running into a fundraising opportunity. Kirk ran the 2008 Boston Marathon in 3:17 and raised over $7,500 for the March of Dimes and its mission to improve the health of babies. “With a hectic executive schedule and frequent travel, Kirk is amazingly accessible for his Chair responsibilities. Whether it’s attending events, a press conference, or participating in the national Volunteer Leadership Conference, he always answers the call of duty whenever possible.” said Margie Wright, Director of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Division.
Kirk Perry is a true champion for all babies!
