A Local Motorcycle Ride like No Other...Saving Babies Lives
2007 Ride for Babies Puts Riders in the Fast Lane at the Kentucky Speedway
Raising Awareness of Premature Birth

                                                                                      
Cincinnati, Ohio –  On Saturday, September 15, motorcycle enthusiasts from all over will start their engines at the Meijer located at 4990 Houston Road in Florence, KY, and will travel approximately 40 miles through the beautiful hills of Northern Kentucky before arriving at the Kentucky Speedway for a one of a kind experience. The 2007 Ride for Babies will place riders on the race track, where they will take three “Victory Laps” to help raise awareness about the many costs of premature birth.

Northern Kentucky resident Ally Grace and her parents Scott and Sara have been selected to serve as Ambassador Family for the March of Dimes 2007 Ride for Babies for the second year. “Despite being born 16 weeks early by emergency c-section and weighing just one pound, ten ounces, Ally Grace is a happy and healthy four-year-old girl who has such a positive outlook on life that she has inspired me to continue to raise awareness and funds for other babies born premature.” said Fred Kohnke, CEO and President of CBS Personnel, presenting sponsor for this year’s Ride for Babies, and Corporate Chairman of the event for the third year in a row. “I encourage all riders to join me at the Kentucky Speedway to ride on behalf of Ally Grace and other babies born too soon and too small so we can give every baby a healthy start.”

On-site registration will take place on Saturday, September 15, the day of the motorcycle ride at 10:30 a.m. at the Meijer in Florence, KY. The ride will begin at 11:30 a.m. All proceeds from the 2007 Ride for Babies will benefit March of Dimes research, education, and advocacy to prevent premature birth, birth defects, and infant mortality.
