A Proud Partner of Prematurity Awareness Month

The Anthem Foundation is a proud partner of Prematurity Awareness Month in November.  A long standing supporter of the March of Dimes and our programs to help moms have full term pregnancies and healthy babies, Anthem is committed to improving the health of their communities.  The Anthem Foundation has two major initiatives: Covering the Uninsured and Healthy Generations, a program to improve public health outcomes in communities across the nation.   Anthem has a particular focus on programs that increase the percentage of mothers who engage in prenatal care during the first trimester of their pregnancies and decreasing the percentage of newborns who weigh less than 5.5 lbs.
