Thank you for Walking at March for Babies! March for Babies is America's favorite walking event! When you walk, you give hope to all families – those with babies born healthy and those with babies born too soon or sick. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten our babies. We've been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $1.8 billion to benefit all babies.
Look Who’s Walking March for Babies took place in more than 900 communities across the country and walkers came out by the thousands across Oklahoma to raise money for March for Babies to benefit all babies — those born healthy as well as those who need help to survive and thrive. As the original walking event and the March of Dimes biggest annual fundraiser, March for Babies helps support the innovative research and programs needed to find out what causes prematurity and other serious threats to infant health.

Why Families Walk Family Teams are made up of friends and family members who want to honor their own children or children they know – babies born prematurely or with a birth defect; babies who didn’t survive; or healthy, full-term babies. Family Teams help remind everyone of the urgency of the mission of the March of Dimes. Their grass-roots efforts of embraced the March of Dimes in a way we haven’t seen since the polio days.
Are you the parent, relative or friend of a premature baby, a baby born with a birth defect or other health problems, or a child who spent time in neonatal intensive care? Join our online community and participate in discussions, start a blog, or just make friends.
