Focus on Prematurity: Conference Objectives

• Identify high risk perinatal conditions that impact neonatal outcomes or contribute to prematurity or low birth weight
• Discuss the impact of prematurity issues in Oklahoma
• Describe updates in care of women with high risk perinatal conditions
• Discuss special nursing care needs and nutritional issues of the late preterm infant
• Envision approaches to prevent prematurity and low birth weight
• Network with colleagues to discover approaches to care of preterm or low birth weight infants and their families
