Professional Programs
Genetics & Your Practice CD-ROM, 2nd Edition-Advances in genetics are rapidly changing the face of medicine and have major implications for health care providers. The Genetics & Your Practice CD-ROM is an excellent resource for learning the basics of clinical genetics. The interactive program uses case studies and videos to describe the fundamentals of genetic medicine, including the building blocks of life, measuring and monitoring growth and development, genetic testing, genetic counseling and ethical, legal and social issues. Contact hours are available for physicians and nurses.

Nursing Module Program-Maintaining excellence in clinical practice is a challenging and necessary focus for all nurses in the evolving field of perinatal health. March of Dimes nursing modules help nurses meet the challenges posed by a rapidly changing world of technological advances, evolving demographics and greater cultural diversity. Nursing modules are self-directed monographs designed for registered nurses and nurse-midwives. Nurses who complete a module can receive Contact Hours that are recognized by most states and recertification organizations. The modules may be used for independent study or facilitated group instruction.

Fetal Alcohol Syndrome CD-This comprehensive tool helps health professionals screen and diagnose children with fetal alcohol syndrome. The CD-ROM uses descriptive text, video clips, animations and illustrations to assist users. For Windows and Macintosh.
