| The March of Dimes and the prime time Emmy nominated show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" are looking for a Washington family who has a first-hand experience with premature birth.
Nominate yourself or a family you know who had a premature baby and desperately needs their home repaired or completely rebuilt to be on the show. Nominees must own their own home and live in Washington.
The show's producers are looking for a family whose home ties to their premature birth experience. For example, a home that needs to be fixed in order to bring a premature baby home from the hospital, or a family who spent all if their savings on medical expenses and their house has suffered greatly because of it.
If you you know fits this description, send an email to Kelly Mooney at Kelly@emhe.tv by June 15, 2007, describing the family story and why their house needs to be remodeled or repaired. Include the names and ages of everyone in the family. For more information, or if you plan to nominate someone, please contact Jill Brown at the March of Dimes, 1-800-811-0805 or jbrown@marchofdimes.com.
The March of Dimes is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes funds programs of research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies.
