15-Sep-04
Chefs Auction of Portland 2004 combines the specialties of 11 locally acclaimed chefs, mixed with unique live and silent auction packages centered around food and travel to create a fun evening of culinary delights. This 15th annual event is Tuesday, October 19, 6 p.m., at the Portland Hilton.

A benefit for the March of Dimes, Greater Oregon Chapter, Star Chefs of Portland is expected to raise more than $100,000 for March of Dimes programs to save babies from death and disability.

Chef Coordinators Peter Kost of Lucy’s Table and Scott Neuman of Oba have assembled a talented group to participate in this year’s event. The 2004 Star Chefs include: Dylyn Cooldige of Lucy's Table, Marco Frattaroli of Basta's Trattoria, Paul Klitsie of Fratelli, Thomas McLaughlin of Serratto, Scott Neuman of Oba, John Newman of The Stephanie Inn, Jason Nielsen of Mint, Paul Ornstein of Basilico, Nathan Read of Porto Terra Tuscan Grille, Billy Schumaker of Taqueria Nueve, and Marco Shaw of Fife.
