Lane County Chain Reaction Youth Leadership Council to Throw a Baby Shower 22-Jan-03 The March of Dimes Chain Reaction Youth Council is planning a “Baby Shower” for expectant mothers in the Lane County Maternity Case Management Program and Lane County Healthy Start.  Council members are seeking donations of any new baby items, such as diapers, baby wipes, blankets, bibs, powder, lotion, clothes, toys, and monetary donations.  Donations can be made to the March of Dimes Office: March of Dimes, 1410 Oak, Suite 101, Eugene, OR  97401 or call (541) 686-2170 for pick up.  Office hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday.  Chain Reaction is the March of Dimes youth leadership program, a rapidly growing network of local high school students who are raising the awareness about teen health issues.  The Chain Reaction program is reaching young people and is making a difference in our communities.  Today’s Chain Reaction volunteers will be tomorrow’s leaders. Donating is easy online, by phone or mail / fax.
