Portland, Oregon, January 01, 2013 —
For 30 years March of Dimes has honored women of achievement from every corner of the great state of Oregon at our annual White Rose Luncheon. We have recognized women like Gwyneth Gamble Booth, Norma Paulus, Barbara Roberts, Arlene Schnitzer, Joan Austin, and Gwenda McCall. And so many more. 204 to be exact.
It is not without some sadness that we announce the 30th annual White Rose Luncheon in 2012 was our last. This event has been one of our favorites, however, with the changing environment we find ourselves needing to adjust our focus and efforts in other directions.
We remain proud of our connection to these exceptional women, and list each and every one of our past honorees here. We will continue to do our best to make them proud of their connection to us by working tirelessly for maternal and infant health.
