About our contest

The March of Dimes works to improve the health of babies.  We want more Americans to care about this cause and take action to help give all babies a healthy start in life. Your ad can help make this happen. The contest theme "Every Baby has a Story" celebrates all babies, those who are born healthy and those who need our help to survive. Investigate our website and use your creativity to interpret this theme. Your ad can help raise awareness of an issue like premature birth — the #1 killer of newborns — or bring attention to the desperate need for health care coverage for women and babies. It can be a personal story, or about the experience of many babies and families. Our one piece of advice is to include both urgency and hope, because we know that most people need both of these elements to be motivated to do something. Your ad should end with our logo and website so that viewers can find out how to take action to help.
