| A hearty congratulations to National Youth Council Member and Wharton Sophomore Megan Myers, and the Eastern Pennsylvania Division for their recent success in being selected to work with the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School. The March of Dimes in Pennsylvania will participate in a special project designed for Wharton’s Management program, where these ambitious students will provide consulting services to not-for-profits in the Philadelphia area.
A group of nine students will work directly with the Division staff to maximize November’s National Prematurity Awareness Month marketing and media opportunities. As part of this effort, the students will provide assistance in developing mission related programs and special gratitude events, all the while helping the Division to research and identify high-impact volunteers from business, social, and media sectors in the area.
We anticipate that this special program could be the first of many partnerships forged between the March of Dimes and local universities whose students are looking to further their community involvement. Our sincere congratulation to Megan and the local division on this great opportunity! |
