Harris Brooks Elected to National Board of Trustees of March of Dimes

(KING OF PRUSSIA, PA  JULY 27, 2007) – Harris Brooks, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Choice Health, a management services organization, has been elected to the National Board of Trustees of the March of Dimes Foundation.

March of Dimes trustees, who serve as volunteers, represent the public in governing the organization and advancing its mission.

“Harris Brooks has been a dedicated volunteer for the March of Dimes who shares our goal to give every baby a healthy start in life,” said Dr. Jennifer L. Howse, President of the March of Dimes.

Mr. Brooks has been a volunteer leader of the March of Dimes for more than 12 years including his current service as a member of the Board of Directors of the Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter March of Dimes.  Most recently, Mr. Brooks served as chairman of the foundation’s National Office of Volunteers.  In this role, he worked on country-wide surveys, assessments and projects which will result in a set of written recommendations to the National Board of Trustees.  Mr. Brooks also served as part of a regional team to develop plans to improve the functioning of chapters through effective programming, revenue development, communications and volunteer development.

Immediately prior to his current positions, Mr. Brooks was chairman and CEO of People Health Associates, Inc. In addition, he was a past President and General Manager for CIGNA Healthcare in three markets and served as Chairman of the Board for CIGNA Healthcare of Pennsylvania. Mr. Brooks has also held various senior management positions in hospital administration and in the health insurance industry. He also is involved in many community and governmental programs.  He holds the rank of Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and serves as the Senior Air Force Liaison to Civil Authorities for Homeland Security at the regional and national level.

Mr. Brooks is a graduate of Temple University and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.  Mr. Brooks and his wife, Cheryl, have a daughter and two granddaughters. They reside in Warminster, Pennsylvania.
