In our 15th year, the mission of the Philadelphia A.I.R Awards continues to be assisting the March of Dimes in the fight against birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality through an annual awards program recognizing excellence in Philadelphia radio. A tribute to 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award honoree Howard Eskin of Sportsradio 610 WIP will be one of this year’s A.I.R. Awards highlights, along with the presentation of awards in over 30 competitive categories. The 2008 David L. Kurtz Broadcast Leadership Award winner is 92.5 WXTU’s, Natalie Conner. The 2008 Milestone Honorees will be: Bob Craig (WMGK, WPEN), Don Banks (WUSL), Brenda Jorett (WHYY), Chris Wheeler (Phillies), and Andre Gardner (WMGK).
