March for Babies - Pittsburgh 2013
Registration Time: 8:00AM
100 Art Rooney Avenue
March for Babies Pittsburgh is a beautiful rain or shine 3.5 mile walking event on Sunday, June 2, 2013 starting at Heinz Field home of the Pittsburgh Steelers and finishing at PNC Park home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The 3.5 mile walk takes you up General Robinson to Mazeroski Way, into PNC Park and around the warning track. From PNC Park, you head up the City River Walk and across the 16th Street Bridge to the home stretch down Penn Avenue. The route finishes across the Clemente Bridge in front of PNC Park.
The Pittsburgh March for Babies event features several activities for all ages at both the starting line and the finish line. At the starting line there is a huge Kids Zone and breakfast is provided. The finish line includes live entertainment, the Pittsburgh Pirates Kid Fest Area and lunch is provided. Don’t forget that every walker that raises $50 will receive one complimentary voucher to a Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Cincinnati Reds or San Francisco Giants game. Voucher will be good for one complimentary Grandstand ticket in Sections 301-333. Additional adult tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate of $15 per ticket. Kids’ tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate of $7 per ticket.
When you walk, you give hope to the babies born too soon or sick. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies, and it funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten our babies. We've been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $2.6 billion! Join the more than 7 million people who participate, donate and/or sponsor. There are plenty of opportunities for day-of-event exposure, activation and education - not to mention opportunities to meet hundreds of others who are just like you!
