• During 2008-2010 (average), the low birthweight rate in Phoenix was highest for black infants (13.0%), followed by Asians (10.0%), whites (7.5%), Hispanics (6.8%) and Native Americans (6.0%). 
• Black infants (13.0%) were about 2 times as likely as Native American infants (6.0%) to be born low birthweight during 2008-2010 (average)
