• During 2008-2010 (average), the low birthweight rate in San Francisco was highest for black infants (13.2%), followed by Asians (6.9%), whites (6.7%) and Hispanics (6.0%). 
• Black infants (13.2%) were about 2 times as likely as Hispanic infants (6.0%) to be born low birthweight during 2008-2010 (average)
