• During 2008-2010 (average), the low birthweight rate in Fresno city was highest for black infants (13.7%), followed by Native Americans (9.4%), Asians (8.6%), whites (7.6%) and Hispanics (7.5%). 
• Black infants (13.7%) were about 2 times as likely as Hispanic infants (7.5%) to be born low birthweight during 2008-2010 (average)
