• During 2008-2010 (average), the low birthweight rate in Sacramento city was highest for black infants (10.8%), followed by Asians (7.6%), Native Americans (6.9%), whites (6.2%) and Hispanics (5.9%). 
• Black infants (10.8%) were about 2 times as likely as Hispanic infants (5.9%) to be born low birthweight during 2008-2010 (average)
