• During 2008-2010 (average), the low birthweight rate in Denver was highest for black infants (14.1%), followed by Native Americans (13.4%), Asians (11.6%), whites (8.5%) and Hispanics (8.4%). 
• Black infants (14.1%) were about 2 times as likely as Hispanic infants (8.4%) to be born low birthweight during 2008-2010 (average)
