• During 2008-2010 (average), the very low birthweight rate in Minneapolis was highest for black infants (3.1%), followed by Asians (1.5%), whites (1.1%) and Hispanics (0.8%). 
• Black infants (3.1%) were about 4 times as likely as Hispanic infants (0.8%) to be born very low birthweight during 2008-2010 (average).
