• During 2008-2010 (average), the low birthweight rate in Omaha was highest for black infants (13.7%), followed by Native Americans (8.9%), Asians (8.9%), Hispanics (7.1%) and whites (7.0%). 
• Black infants (13.7%) were about 2 times as likely as white infants (7.0%) to be born low birthweight during 2008-2010 (average)
