• During 2008-2010 (average), the low birthweight rate in Las Vegas was highest for black infants (13.8%), followed by Asians (9.5%), whites (8.1%), Native Americans (6.9%) and Hispanics (6.7%). 
• Black infants (13.8%) were about 2 times as likely as Hispanic infants (6.7%) to be born low birthweight during 2008-2010 (average)
