• During 2008-2010 (average), the low birthweight rate in Bronx was highest for black infants (12.4%), followed by Asians (11.8%), Hispanics (8.8%) and whites (6.7%). 
• Black infants (12.4%) were about 2 times as likely as white infants (6.7%) to be born low birthweight during 2008-2010 (average)
