• During 2008-2010 (average), the very low birthweight rate in Columbus was highest for black infants (3.0%), followed by Asians (1.7%), whites (1.4%) and Hispanics (1.1%). 
• Black infants (3.0%) were about 3 times as likely as Hispanic infants (1.1%) to be born very low birthweight during 2008-2010 (average).
