• In the United States in 2010, the rate of repeat cesarean delivery for the 15 states using unrevised birth certificates (19% of all births) was 92.3 per 100 live births to women who had a previous cesarean delivery and for the 33 states and the District of Columbia using revised certificates (76% of all births) was 90.8 per 100 live births to women who had a previous cesarean delivery.
