As Your Child Grows:
What is normal development? Learn the milestones to look for up to 2 years of age. Find out where to go for special help if your baby needs it.
The Premature Infant: How Old Is My Baby?
Babies who are born prematurely often have two ages: chronological age and adjusted age.
What Is Normal Development?
If your baby had a difficult start, spent time in a NICU, or has a chronic condition or disability, you may be especially concerned about your child's growth and development.
Getting Services for Your Baby
Babies who have spent a lot of time in a NICU can be at risk for delays in speech and language, cognitive skills and motor skills. Early identification and treatment will help the child reach her potential.
JUST ONE STORY
Our story began in October 2000 when we learned we were expecting twins in early June. Almost immediately the pregnancy was riddled with complications.
