"Healthy Babies, Healthy Business" Web Site Enhances Companies Wellness Programs With High Quality Health Content for Their Intranets

New March of Dimes Program Focuses on Pregnancy and Newborn Information

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., JANUARY 16, 2004 –  In order to give companies greater access to a wide spectrum of high quality pregnancy and newborn health information in a cost-effective manner, the March of Dimes has created a new Intranet based web application called "Healthy Babies, Healthy Business."

The new web service is Intranet/Internet based and aims to supplement existing wellness and benefits information to help employees have healthier babies. The content focuses on pregnancy and wellness information for families and first-time parents and celebrates the birth of a child and is free to any company that would like to utilize the service.

"The birth of a baby should be a joyous occasion,'' said March of Dimes President Dr. Jennifer L. Howse." For pregnant employees and their families, it's critical they have the information about health behaviors for them, and for their baby."

"Healthy Babies, Healthy Business" is a secure and easy way to deliver important and useful content directly to employees via a corporate Intranet.

"Healthy Babies, Healthy Business" is a critical strategy for increasing mission awareness and delivering mission content to families and first-time parents through their employer.
