Fleischer's Fantastic Finish Benefits March of Dimes To Tune of $50K

Ari Fleischer, former White House Press Secretary, won $50K for his favorite charity, The March of Dimes, on the popular game show "Jeopardy!"  The show aired in syndication yesterday, May 12, as part of "Jeopardy! Power Players Week," featuring 15 of the country's most influential personalities, including political figures, authors, journalists and newsmakers, competing on behalf of their favorite charities. Each Power Player is guaranteed $20,000 for the charity of their choice, while the winner each day scores a $50,000 jackpot for their special cause.

Mr. Fleischer pictured here with host, Alex Trebek, had some tough competition as he matched wits against Ashleigh Banfield, TV Correspondent and Aaron Brown, anchor, CNN "Newsnight" and "CNN Presents."  For the past several years Mr. Fleischer has supported the March of Dimes mission to prevent birth defects and premature births.  He and his wife, Becki are expecting their first child this week.
