Anna Eleanor Roosevelt Speaks at National Press Club Luncheon

WASHINGTON, APRIL 8, 2005--Anna Eleanor Roosevelt, granddaughter of President Franklin Roosevelt, speaking at a National Press Club Luncheon held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Salk polio vaccine.  To the left, her fellow speaker Ben Bradlee, former executive editor of The Washington Post, who described his personal experience with polio at age 14 for first time in public; and Dr. Jennifer L. Howse, president of the March of Dimes.   Ms. Roosevelt is a member of the March of Dimes Board of Trustees and serves as chair of the 50th anniversary celebrations.
