Thalia, Kmart Support WalkAmerica

NEW YORK CITY, MARCH 21, 2006 -- Latina music superstar and March of Dimes celebrity spokesperson Thalia greets fans at a Kmart store in New York City as they prepare to join her to participate in a mini version of the March of Dimes WalkAmerica. WalkAmerica, the March of Dimes largest fundraiser, supports research and programs to help save babies and will be held in most communities at the end of April.


NEW YORK CITY, MARCH 21, 2006 -- Latina music superstar and March of Dimes celebrity spokesperson Thalia leads friends and fans on a mini version of WalkAmerica in New York City to promote the event that is held in most communities across the U.S. at the end of April. The mini version of WalkAmerica began at a local Kmart store in midtown Manhattan -- participants walked uptown to the NASDAQ Market Site where Thalia rang the closing bell with Kmart and March of Dimes executives. WalkAmerica, the March of Dimes largest fundraiser, supports research and programs to help save babies.
