The March of Dimes launched its 5-year, $75 million Prematurity Campaign on January 30, 2003 in Washington, D.C. The campaign is aimed at raising awareness to the growing problem of prematurity, reducing the incidence of preterm birth, and alerting women to the signs of preterm labor.
