March of Dimes
  Leadership & Recognition Programs

Chain Reaction and  Collegiate Council trains volunteers for the present and community leaders for the future.

The most appealing component of these councils to high school and college students is the opportunity to develop, nurture, and build their leadership abilities. Through orientations, workshops, and experience running meetings, members learn how to interact and work with others. They identify their strengths and weaknesses and learn how to become more efficient and effective leaders.

Through these experiences, Chain Reaction and Collegiate Council members develop time management, goal setting, public speaking, and marketing skills, in addition to learning to become active community leaders. And they are helping babies to be born healthy in their communities and throughout the nation.

Chain Reaction and Collegiate Council members fight to save babies all over the country!

Recognition Opportunities

Chain Reaction and Collegiate Councils  have the opportunity to apply for national and regional Awards each spring through the Team Youth Recognition program.
