Get involved at the elementary school level

Elementary school teachers and students can help support the mission of the March of Dimes through a variety of ways in the classroom. Consider the following to get your elementary school students on board with the mission to help all babies have a healthy start!

WonderWalk
WonderWalk is a fundraising and community service event for children in preschool and elementary school. Children experience what may be their first opportunity to become a volunteer, and participants learn about the mission of the March of Dimes and the value of helping others.

Coin Collection
Collect change to help all babies be born healthy! Each student or classroom can have a coin collection box and classrooms can compete to see who can raise the most for the March of Dimes. Contact your local office for coin boxes.

Healthy Living Elementary School Guide
The March of Dimes Healthy Living Elementary School Guide will help you convey to students the importance of taking care of themselves and volunteering their time while raising funds that help babies be born healthy. It’s a great way to bring students together in the classroom, the school, and in their community.
