What are the requirements to receive a grant?

Our grants and awards go to programs that address unmet medical needs for Illinois's moms and babies. Our funds typically go toward programs that focus on education and prevention and increasing access to prenatal care.

What do I need to do to apply for a March of Dimes Illinois Chapter grant?

We award grants based on a number of criteria, including the group or organization’s ability to accomplish its goals.  We also award grants based on how effective the program may be in meeting the unmet needs of moms-to-be, such as increasing access to maternal and pediatric care.

Organizations wishing to receive a copy of the Request for Proposal for 2013 funding can email sknight@marchofdimes.com  with their name, name of organization, address, email address and phone number to be notified when the applications are sent out in the summer of 2012.
